This is a pedal floor tool for Henry Hoover. The pedal on the right hand side of the floor tool raises & lowers the castellated brush underneath.
Carpets should be vacuumed with the brush up so that the metal plate underneath is rubbing on the carpet. If the brush is left down on carpet it can be quite hard going! Hard floors should be cleaned with the brush down as the brush agitates the the dirt & debris of the floor ready to be vacuumed up by Henry’s super suction.
